Cat; although a valid point, and that point is exactly why the interception leader from 2009 is still testing the market, do you not think that that is exactly why we need him. a younger less experienced Safety will be quicker, but will they have the leadership ability, the veteran knowledge of how to play a QB, and when called upon Sharper hit very, very hard. The point that I am trying to make is that while Sharper is a product of the system in which he plays(GW) and the STRONG talent he has around him(Greer, Porter, Harper, Jenkins) he is a very important piece in that puzzle! is he young or quick or does he have upside? no! is he the best fit possible, while healthy, in a system that requires nothing from a FS other than to use their head, ball hawk, play center field, and lead the secondary? HELLZ YEAH!!!! Sharper is a product of the system in which he plays, but he is also what makes the system so damn great! without Sharper we would have to lean on Young or Jenkins both inexperienced and neither seem to have the heady gutsy route jumping ability that Sharper has. Give Sharper center-field for another year or two and he will WRECK HAVOC put him somewhere else, another team, where he will be required to back up the CB.'s, kinda what the position is for but with our CB.'s all we need is guy to get a jump on a route, and he will show his age.
